Connecticut residents may be able to view the latest NASA rocket launch on Tuesday.
NASA will be launching an Antares rocket Tuesday evening at 6:22 p.m. from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. The ship will be bringing 5,000 pounds of supplies and experiments, to the International Space Station.
Fox CT's meteorologists say the skies should be clear enough for the rocket to be visible 10 to 12 degrees above the southern horizon.
Live coverage of the mission is scheduled to begin at noon on the Wallops Ustream site
Launch updates also are available via the Wallops Facebook and Twitter sites.
Smartphone users can download the 'What's Up at Wallops' app, which contains information on the launch as well as a compass showing the precise direction for launch viewing.
