Explore at city-wide Colorado Springs Science Festival - Colorado Springs Gazette

If Steve Rothstein has his way, a giant science museum will spring up near downtown within the next five years.

In the meantime, the president of the Colorado Springs Science Center busies himself with presenting the center's fifth annual Colorado Springs Science Festival, a nine-day, citywide conglomeration of science and technology-related hands-on activities, events, lectures, demonstrations and performances for both kids and adults. It starts Saturday and runs through Oct. 19.
