COCKEYSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) - A Cockeysville native will take part in the first of three spacewalks this October.


Reid Wiseman, a NASA astronaut, will work outside the International Space Station for about 6-1/2 hours Tuesday, alongside Alexander Gerst, of the European Space Agency. Wiseman is a flight engineer with NASA.


According to NASA, they are set to relocate a failed pump module and install gear that provides back up power to external robotics equipment.
